At centre stage are the island’s signature grape varieties: Nero d’Avola and Grillo, emblems of tradition; Zibibbo and Frappato, light-hearted and convivial; Catarratto, now expressing a new contemporary identity; and Syrah, which has found in Sicily a second home.
